Privacy policy
What this site collects
Information you give us. When you submit the appointment request form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, whether you are a new or existing patient, which services you are interested in, your preferred contact method, and anything you choose to write in the open message field. All of these are provided voluntarily by you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns: which pages people visit, how they found the site, the general area they are in (such as city and region), and what type of device they used. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
A note about the contact form
The appointment request form is a general inquiry tool, not a secure medical records portal. Please use it to tell us how to reach you and to give a brief sense of what you are looking for. Please do not send detailed medical history, test results, medication lists, or other sensitive health information through this form or by email. Dr. Bina will gather that information with you directly and privately once care begins.
How your information is used
Information you submit through the form is used only to respond to your request and to schedule care. It is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with marketing companies or data brokers.
Service providers
This website relies on a small number of outside services to operate:
- Netlify hosts the website and processes form submissions.
- Google Workspace / Gmail delivers form notifications to Dr. Bina's inbox.
- Google Analytics provides anonymous, aggregated traffic reporting.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy policies. No other third parties receive information from this site.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics places a small file (a cookie) in your browser to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. It does not read personal files, and it does not know your name.
We have configured Google Analytics to limit what it collects. Advertising and personalization features are turned off, no information from the contact form is passed into analytics, and analytics data is deleted after fourteen months.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the browser add-on Google provides at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Doing either will not affect your ability to use this site or to contact the office.
How long information is kept
Form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain reasonable records of communication, then deleted. Analytics data is automatically deleted after fourteen months.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Requests concerning a minor patient should be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
Your choices
You may ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email drmollybina@gmail.com or call (406) 534-9779 and we will take care of it. There is no cost, and asking will not affect your care in any way.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this site, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on every page. That said, no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask that sensitive health details be shared directly rather than through the website.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
